Location

North of Poland. Polish coastline is 770 km of sandy beaches by the Baltic Sea. 


Weather

Average water temperature in summer time is about 17 ° C - 21 ° C. The air temperature in
the summer months is around 28 ° C - 30 ° C in the shadow.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Accommodation

Accomodation in Poland offers a wide range of choice. You can choose between very expensive, luxury hotels and cheap bed&breakfast. In the majority of accomodation is
located very close to the beaches. Along the coast there are hundreds of resorts. Everyone will find something for himself. Some of the villages are very quaiet, typically for family or people who value chill out and proximity to nature. There are also typical village where parties in clubs and on the beaches going on for a beautiful sunset till stunning sunrise.  

Prices for a double room depend on the standard and locatin. Range of prices is from about 1200 PLN per night for a double room in a five stars hotel located on the beach in Sopot town, to 60 PLN per night in a double ensuite room about 10 minutes walk from the beach in Stegna village. 


Food

 


Direct access to sea and fresh fish allows restauratnts serving delicious fish dishes. Fish are delivered to the restaurant straight from the fishing boats. The best fish you can eat in the popular in all over the sea coast points called "Smażalnia ryb".
In the morning, when the fishermen arrive at the sandy beaches, everyone can buy fresh fish. It is also good opportunity to make a healthy grilled dish by yourself. 

Food prices.
Fish dinner set with chips, salad, souses and drink it is costs about 20 - 25 PLN. Hamburger meal it is cost about 10 PLN.

Being by the sea is beneficial to our health. It has been known for ages. Aristotle was a Greek philosophe. He discovered that sea is conductive to our health. In Baltic sea is great mixture of particles of sea water, iodine, bromine, calcium, and magnesium. The air over the Baltic sea contains many medicinal properties - relieves inflammation in the bronchi and reduce their reactions to allergens and increases the lungs capacity (important for children). Reduces inflammation and allergic skins. In its composition is iodine, which plays a key role in the production of hormones produced in the thyroid gland, necessary for the proper functioning of all body cells. Inhalation of sea air increases the body's defense mechanisms, increases mental liveliness, accelerates wound healing, lower blood pressure and a very positive influence on both the well-being of people with diseases of the respiratory and cardiovascular system. It is also an effective remedy for fatigue. It increases the efficiency of thinking, learning and memory, improves concentration and reduces stress levels. 



 Entertainment


 

One of the biggest electronic music is the Sunrise Festival in Kolbrzeg City. It takes place every year at the end of last the week of July. For the first time it was organized in 1999. Since then every summer to Kolobrzeg arrive world class DJ's electronic music and their 50 000 audience. After a night party, after party transfers to the beach at sunrise in the rhythms of electronic music to continue playing.
